Coverage you shouldn't cut to save money
Where cutting costs can expose you to much bigger losses.
Some savings are false economies. These coverages protect you from losses that could be far larger than any premium savings.
Think twice before cutting
- Liability limits: serious crashes can exceed state minimums, and you may be responsible for the rest
- Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage: protects you when the other driver can't pay
- Medical payments or PIP, especially if your health insurance has a high deductible
